Membership Application Details
Membership of the Haworthia Society is open to individuals and institutions etc. in all countries. Membership is split 50% UK and 50% overseas. The membership year runs from January to December.
New Members are welcome at any time – those joining early in the year are (on payment of that year’s subscription) sent the back numbers of the Journal for that year . Those joining after August may opt either for paying that year’s subscription and receive the year’s back numbers, or receive the October issue gratis as well as the following year’s subscription.
Would any members who are UK residents, and pay UK income tax, please note that the Society is now registered for “Gift Aid” which means that we can, at no additional cost to yourself, claim back from HMRC the tax that you have paid on your subscription. (This will admittedly not benefit you directly (unless you pay higher-rate tax) but it will benefit the Society and help to keep our subscription levels down!) You can join or renew using our Subscription_Form (Available online for printing and mailing, please note that it is in PDF format so you will need Acrobat Reader to access it) or by simply using the PayPal option below.
Payment from UK members in GBP and from overseas members in GBP, Euros or USD only please.
Alternatively, UK members may send a cheque in GBP (payable to THE HAWORTHIA SOCIETY) together with the top part of the Membership Form to the Treasurer.
